  1. For the person that is not using eLearning technologies at all, most of these tools will be "too advanced". Not intellectually but just several steps ahead of what they are ready for and need.
For such novices the basics of using simple Learning Management System tools to facilitate learning meaningfully and efficiently would be more meaningful and valid.

    1. Thanks for the response Anthony. You have a good point. I think, however, that any solution must respond to the problem at hand. I simply share what I find to be valuable tools in my context. This is why continued conversation is so incredibly imprtant.

  2. In my opinion the eLearning Champions (as I wannabe) need to address the apparent reluctance academics seem to have to actually using eLearning technologies. We need to identify the factors causing this inertia and then show these to be small obstacles, easily negotiated, and well worth the effort to adopt eLearning strategie as viable, efficient, teaching and learning tools.

    1. I belive in baby steps. Lecturers must be inspired to adopt innovative teaching practices, and then these should happen incrementally.
